(This is dedicated to all the mothers enduring the daily pain of having a missing child............. and to my son, Andy) So many years I took care of you.... Holding your hand, and helping you through the hard times.... We didn't have much but each other.... Why didn't you at least say good-bye? I think of you..My heart starts to cry.. It's been forever.... But never knowing keeps me going...... Am I? Ever gonna see your face again? Will you leave without a trace again? And will the sun come up tomorrow? Am I? Ever gonna see you smile again? Get a second chance to be your friend? What I'd give to see your face, again........ I can't deny...I hurt over you..... I don't know why things stay like they do, Where are we going? We live for the moment, no knowing.... You went away, but I can't set you free... I wonder if you still think of me.. No easy answer...... Time keeps passing, and I keep asking: Am I? Ever gonna see your face again? Will you leave without a trace again? And will the sun come up tomorrow? Am I? Ever gonna see you smile again? Get a second chance just to be your friend? What I'd give to see your face again..... Oh........ What I'd give to see your face again..... Thank you Severn..... I wasn't sure about posting this, but who better to share with than a wonderful group whom I am getting to enjoy more every day. I'm a songwriter, and this is actually a song that I do onstage, in the hopes that it will ease someone else's pain, not just mine.... Very well written. I understand your pain and I feel for you. My nephew used to do this after he became 30 years old.Chemical imbalance brought on by stress.He was always such a sweet,sweet boy!
