Song birds fill the air with
sweet music
As we walk hand in hand
through the misty meadow
Lilac scents the air and sprays
of purple and white
   Blossom against cedars dark
green branches
   The sun slowly rises, turning
the lake into glittering gold
   Clothes are abandoned as we
slip into the waters silken embrace
   And there amidst the worlds
awakening
We begin a renewal of our
own
   With trembling hands I reach
to touch your face
Pulling you closer for a tender
passion ruled kiss
The desire in your eyes echos
my own
   And our bodies soon find
natures way
   Our passion soars as high
as the rising sun
And our cries fill the meadow
as sweetly as birdsong
   Then passion spent we rise
from the waters depths
   To face the world
   Knowing we have this to
come home to
   renewed in each other.

JanetMarie...well this is a place close to my heart and a man even closer. The title just seemed to fit.

Jamie...among the lilacs and the cedars set your roots deep...there is always room for a friend.

Mark...you are always with me love no matter where we are.
