sometimes my life is so out of control that it is like doing three sixties on an ice blacked highway where excitement reigns a split second kingdom before being overthrown by panic and succeeded by fear... but there i will stop for a moment as you are probably scrunching your eyebrows with disbelief and asking just how would this writer know that? but i do. because i did just that one cold dark night. and so now when my thoughts take over the wheel and the spinning starts and reasoning says turn turn i say turn into the slide you are losing control and fear and i grip white knucked at anything at nothing at all and each time around the too fast approaching headlights of the Road Closed ahead truck get closer and the eyes frozen in fear behind the wheel and i are one as we wait for the impending crash and burn the best i can tell you is don't stand too near because i might not be there yet but i can certainly see insanity from here |

The title alone is worth the price of admission but the poem far exceeds that. This is better than any adjective I can muster up. How about following it up with "On a Clear Day You Can See Hysteria?" |

Karon - I love this analogy - you brought all the frenzy and emotions of impending loss of control right to me - this is a great read - frantic, yet driven; whirling, yet focused; wonderful, yet better than that! |

Ahh but if we don't stand to close, you'll probably crash a lot quicker therefore it's your friends juty to stand by you, And you never know, you may come out the other side with just a few miner scratches on the paint work, nothing that a good engineer can't sort out . I really enjoyed this poem as I sit on the knife blade to, one slip and I'm gone . L.of.L. Tom . P.s. I hope you got the full extent of the metaphor as it was a little subtle . Don't try, do or do not, there is no try . - Master Yoda - |
