In a northern field of sunflowers She searches for one to nuture her Sharing the sky with the butterflies Her spirit and her heart are pure Nature has blessed her with many powers Long has she searched, knowing some pain She yearns to find that one for her The angels songs rivaling her own Finding many flowers, though never sure Because they all appear the same Fly on and fly free gentle Honeybee Matters not to he, worker or queen For your sunflower calls for you Surrounded by a field of green Your gentle flower waits to see ---------------------------------------------------------------- < !signature--> That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl [This message has been edited by Sven (edited 07-08-2000).] |

Omigod, is this poem for me? So you actually did write it afterall!! This is beautiful, you know me so well (with the angels, sunflowers, knowing some pain, butterflies, northern (Canada), searching for a true love references). Of course, I am partial to this poem, but even if it wasn't about me, the way you wrote this poem is so beautiful, you have an amazing way with words. No one has even written anything about me before. I am so honoured and touched to have you write this. You have made this honeybee very happy! Well I guess that I have to keep my end of the bargain now...your 1 million dollar check is in the mail Take care, Melissa Honeybee< !signature--> The beauty of poetry gives me wings to fly [This message has been edited by Melissa Honeybee (edited 07-08-2000).] |
