Scavenger Hunt!

The time has come, my poetic friends
For a hunt through forum halls
This poem will be the map for a
Scavenger hunt within these walls.

Each verse will hold a clue or two
To a post that you must find
Then post the list of what you’ve found
It’s a challenge for your mind!

The winner will get a prize of course
A spot of honor on my web site
But remember, the first one to win
Must get every answer right!

And now we begin:

The forum that is just for rants
Holds the key to question one
The destination of this group
Told tales of mirth and fun.

Page twenty-one of Teen Forum one
Holds the key to your next clue
Tell me who is the author of
“Would You Love Me Too”

The question of envelopes
Was posed in this forum proud
What was the question asked and
Where was this post allowed?

The words “respect and tolerance”
In this “place” are all the rage
What is the name of the ‘place’ and
What’s the last word on the page?

The forum layout is really cool
We love this passionate blue
But if you feel blue you should go
To this specific “forum” too

A Philosophy is good to have
Life is dull without a plan
Who asked about love, with 34 replies?
And what’s the name of that man?

Working on your craft is easy
In the workshop for poetry
You’ll have ‘Victory through Defeat’
Give me the last word replied ‘poertree’

I ‘suggest’ you run on over
To find the clue in this thread
How many posts are there,
For this you may use your head!

By now you need to relax
To go here for a little brew
What are the moderator’s names?
And the real name of the dragon too!

Who is the poet who wrote of an Angel
Standing on ‘Tippy Toes’ to see
How many replies she would get
As she’s stuck in Open 3

This next clue is obtuse
It’s really poetry and more
What’s the first line on that page
This clue should even the score

Who could be “critical” of this member
He’s a ‘pure poet’ in jester’s disguise
What’s his name now hurry up
If you want to win the prize.

Plankster3 at AOL dot com
Asked a question about a poem
Who was the author of that piece?
Answer quick, you’re almost home!

Now for easy questions my friends
List the names of the moderators here
But also tell me how many of them
Have been here more than a year!

Who wrote a poem called ‘Ache’
In the forum that’s opposite of light
In that same place, what is the last
Sentence in the question on the right?

Ron wrote a script to save thinking about
What to type when he wanted to laugh
What’s the phrase and how many ways
Can you smile in one paragraph?
Over in the Alley is an ‘idea for Ron’
How many cats are pictured in that thread
Then find the ‘bear’ and his question
What was it that green bear said?

We’re coming down to the wire
Not much longer till we’re done
How many total topics in the archives
Add each and every one.

Find the last rhyme our leader wrote
And tell me the time of reply 38
Don’t forget to read it by the way
‘Cause the poem is really great

How many pics can you find to choose
To send an angel a passion’s ecard?
Check it out, and you will find
The answer isn’t too hard.

All the pages at Passions are viewed
By poetry readers everywhere
Go to the page where you see the count
Now, what is the color of page views there

The scavenger hunt is at an end
It was fun rhyming this for you
Now post your answers to this quest
That’s all you have to do!

Oh, yes, just one more thing I need
Before you can be on your way
What’s the name of your favorite poem
And what does LoveBug’s signature say?

Have fun and good luck!!!

One and only one rule..no moderators allowed to answer!!!

Sharon OUCH my brain is hurting. it is 11 pm here, do I get extra or sympathy points for time differences or for general insomnia. LOL
I might see what I can do with this treasure hunt tomorrow. I will sleep on it

That'll keep us hunting for awhile and keep our heads hurting.  Neat the way you set it out.  I like to do poems like this.  Cool.  Hope you like my post.

This sounds like a fun idea, Sharon. If I weren't moderator, I'd try it! Good poem, too!

Geesh, Sharon - give you a little free time and this is the result... I recall all of these, but it'd still take me awhile to track down all this stuff... You need a second job, I think... Good work here - It'll be fun to see who wins...

Arghhhh....Sharon, I love this, I've started, .....but, couldn't finish....yet!  Now, the problem is, I have to go to a conference and will be away from ANY computer for the next 4 days, arghhhhh again.....The withdrawal is going to be, well, bad.  Anyway, I would have loved to have given it a shot, but, probably before I've even gotten out of town one of these brilliant poets will have conquered the challenge.  Good luck all......  Bonnie

Jeffrey, my dear, you did a great job but... there are a couple of these that are wrong.. I can't tell you which ones..as that would give away the game...You could still win if no one else comes up with MORE right answers!   Thanks for playing!!!

Ok, being that my math skills aren't what they used to be I went back and added up the total topics for the archives again and, low and behold, I came up with a different number     26,323 total topics

and seeing as how I had two answers for the jester question I'll take another stab at it

could it be "fool" I ask?

You guys should give this a try it really is fun

Thanks Elizabeth
