...One more before the weekend. You are here and I am still lonely. It seems that with each day passing, the depth of my solitude grows greater. How have I wronged you my love? What great sin have I committed that would drive you to the distance at which your heart now resides. I will repent my transgressions to you Let me suffer and be cleansed. Show me where the path to we diverged into the wood I will find my way back to you this is my solemn vow. Our happiness burned bright, and it guided me through my travels but it is getting dark now and I can't see well I'm fighting the feeling that our beacon will soon burn out and all will fade to black. "Even as love crowns you, so shall he crucify you. But if in your fear you would seek only love's pleasure then it is better for you to cover your nak |

I loved this piece!!!!!! It captured a feeling of desperation and I guess a sort of helplessness at trying to hold onto someone, and not knowing how. Very well-put, my friend........... Paint your words upon the eager waiting canvas of my heart.....~Sunny1~ |

Severn...Thank you for the welcome. I am glad I have been "accepted" into this poets society. I will try to make my stay here some sort of contribution.
