Ensnared by the thorn of a May
ambush ,scornful river rats

malevolently draw umbrellas, while
carefree magpie tastes sky salt

mustering along a wafer thin watch
tower.Stealing her flight of devotion ,

innocent of the melee below : oblivious
to the serpentine road painting a shallow

stream ; pieces of debris floating ,
gallant rafts scaling the neighbourhood.

You have an ethereal style, mystical and colorful. I really enjoyed this work, it was a refreshing read!! I do hope there's more brewing in there somewhere..........

Paint your words upon the eager waiting canvas of my heart.....~Sunny1~
