Shimmering shores glistening,a small island beckons
Illustrious industries buzzing,a busy colony of activities
Newly born, a hidden pearl gaming to be explored
Graciously giving, peace of mind offered cozily
Astonishing success achieved, incredibly more so under her tiny frame
Passionate pride runs deep, striving to better herself
Owning little but much, she bravely ventures forward
Romancing fiery desire to be the best, dazzling sparks explode
Ever ready to overcome, to lead and to excel

What a wonderful image of success I found in this one.  If life gives you the success you have achieved in this then you will go far.
Loved it.

Well written.  Like the success imagery as well.

kaile, wow what an image. I had to pinch myself to remind me that it was only poem. and I was ready for some site seeing and all.

kaile,
Sound like a challenging place to live, and a wonderful place to experience! Perhaps, someday I'll visit this wonderful place, if I need a guide can you direct me to one as proud as yourself? Your poem was GREAT!

Oh wow!! This is so cool!!
You should let ALL other Singaporeans read it and let them feel proud of our homeland. Home is still the very best, you never know it until you try to leave it.
