                 Essence

Your fragrance reigns my brain.
Commanding it with ease.
Like scented flowers coaxing bees.

I taste you on the mornings dew.
Heed you on the winds abide
And feel your essence deep inside.

Inciting all my day's and nights
Stirring love within my dream.
Causing ripples in my stream.

And from this lovely diadem.
Glows a single candles light.
That lights the shadows of my night.

And should it change beyond this view,
I would you hold my hand there too.

Sy - This is really great - I love the style - and the last two lines bring it to a close so well, everything summarized cleanly, unequivocably.  Great poem.  Back to the top, where it belongs.

Pure and prolific poetic ponderings, dear Seymour...a lovely display of devoted preoccupation.

I really like this piece of work. It's sweet and tender. This is wonderfully romantic and very precious. GREAT WORK!
