In the space between moments

A shadow drenched in silver tears
Cries beneath sweet Luna's eyes
Broken, bleeding by the chains
Which her shattered soul devised.

A mound of softly heaving flesh
Fallen 'pon the sooted ground
Fingers clawing at the dreams
Which fade without a sound.

A glimmer hovers overhead
The touch new, but felt before
Warming like like the angel's fire
Upon Heaven's crystal shore.

A seraph clad in mortal skin
Breathes love in whispered words
Infusing life into dying eyes
With truths once left unheard.

Threaded by the hand of fate
Our souls now pulse as one
Swaying through the twilight's swirl
Faces pointed towards the sun.

***This is for you, Abrahm.  You've always been the light behind me, the one to take this tattered and broken soul into the light.  More so than you may ever know.  Thank you for everything my love.  Happy Anniversary.***

Liz- Thank you so much!  Yep, it is our one month today...although we've been friends for a very long time now.

JM- LOL, big words, eh?  Well, you have Dusk Treader to thank for that, he's the one who teaches me 'em, lol.  Thank you for your wonderful comments, they're always a joy to read my friend.

Dusk- I'm glad you enjoyed it my love.  Here's to many more Anniversaries sweetheart.
