I'll Take My Chance |

I’ll Take My Chance A dream is but a dream Unless you take the chance You can sit out on the sidelines Or you can try to dance A seed is but a seed Not till it’s planted will you know What beauty will become of it What flower it will grow A wish is but a wish A yearning with no direction It only becomes reality When given the attention A mountain can be vast You never know what’s on the other side Unless you climb it to the top To find what beauty it can hide I’ll take my chances on every dream I’ll plant that seed so it can grow I’ll give that wish my full attention To the moutain top I'll try to go It's not always the path of least resistance And I’ll follow my heart no matter what But I never want to look back saying What if I’d only done just that [This message has been edited by kat (edited 07-06-2000).] |

James: Yes I agree with you. Sometimes regrets come from not taking those chances. Thanks  Butterflies: Yes, our strength does come from choosing the path of least resistance and sometimes by choosing the easier one we risk missing out on something beautiful. Kat~ I love challenges of the heart - Mountain top or valley deep Ocean wide or flowing stream We can go where our thoughts take us if only in our dreams The primrose path of life leads us many ways Along the straight and narrow or on side roads for a day To chance a path untrod with no footprints there to guide can bring the greatest pleasure into your heart to reside *Well - didn't you just leave me a gem of inspiration. MysticalNights: Well the way I see it is you have one life. Too many don't take chances because of fear, but by not taking that chance they could have passed up on something beautiful. The road may be long at times but with faith and perseverance everything is possible. I'm glad you enjoyed this. Thanks! Marge: You truly are unbelievable. You talent always amazes me. kat, my only lament here is that why didnt you submit this for the VoW so that i may vote for it?? such inspirational uplifting words here...i have made a copy of this and will refer to this whenever i am feeling apprehensive and depressed thanx for a most magnificent read |
