*repost due to all the oh so lovely sensual poems in here of late... must be the summer heat ~Sanctuary~ When your world becomes cruel and angry, when your skies turn dark and gray ... Always remember I'll be your shelter, always know in me ... you have a kind place to stay. Should your load become too heavy, and you're troubled by the voices in your head ... you need not retreat inside those walls, gently lay your tired mind in my healing hands instead. Find sanctuary ... in my open arms, when it all gets too hard ... when it all becomes too much ... Take my hand and come with me, find safe refuge in my tender, caressing, touch. My lips to offer quiet comfort, let my mouth be your remedy ... Soft kisses to close your eyes, whispered desires to keep you company. Let my shoulders take the burdens, I'll carry the weight so that you might rest ... Lay your weary body down next to mine, I'll hold you while you sleep, your head on my forgiving breast. With in me ... may you finally breathe, while my body rocks you with a sensual lullaby ... As you lift up to peaceful pleasures, the only sound made ... will be our contented sighs. Janet Marie What the caterpillar calls the end ... The world calls a butterfly ~LaoTzeTao~ ~Butterflies are meant to be free~ |

Oh, Jan, This is so romantic and very sensual and.....words fail me, truly this is a love poem for the ages.. the freely giving to the beloved of ones entire being, is exquisite. Love, Ellie Summers haunting melody that awakens the butterflies, calling them to join the dance in their silent song of praise to God. ellie LeJeune |

If you will put it to music perhaps we can get Barbra Streisand to lend her voice. Magnificent. ps.. you have no idea on the Haikus...lol I must have 15 or 20 on my desk. Jamie Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito. - Virgil. "Yield thou not to adversity, but press on the more bravely". |

I think serenity said it best, this is so very soothing. God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me. ~Unknown |

JM, Such beautiful and romantic writing my friend. *sigh* Fabulous. I think that is what we are all looking for. Someday you'll find it . . . he's out there.
