There’s a place within my mind- I sometimes run and hide. A place where I’ve nothing to prove, Where there’s no need for pride. A place where I let down my guard A place of harmony- Where no outsider can intrude… It’s occupied by me. It’s there I sing my haunting songs- It’s there I write my life… Unemcumbered there, by friends- Or children, or a wife. No reputation to protect- It’s there I’m truly free… No need there to be circumspect- There’s safety there for me. Pressures, problems, on all sides- I need a little space- That’s why I have to flee for rest… Into my hiding place. |

It's a great place, isn't it John? I think we all need that escape. I know I do. Great writing! Denise |

I have yet to find a hiding place I can relate to this one! I can't hide even in my own mind, someone's always wanting in. Excellence GS! |
