Our souls touched, Forming an everlasting flame, Once is not enough, As I sit here tonight, I am missing you, feeling you, Outside I am happy, inside I am blue, I cannot be with you, But I belong to you, You are the one so true, You are out there, I am here, with tears, Tears longing to love you, These eyes have never gazed upon you, Looked face to face, But our hearts have felt eachothers' embrace, I look outside my window, Often you are my thoughts, Thoughts are all I've got, I never knew it was you, Who had stolen my heart away, Until it was the day, You said goodbye, take care, My heart ached with those words, Words , I did fear, I knew that moment, I loved you, You Loved me,with every tear, I was shocked, The feeling hit me, grabbed me, Tears flowed so easily, With you letting go, Broke the chains inside my heart, A dam burst, feelings did overflow, Tore me apart, I could finally see, It was you, It was me, One, completed, The other half to my heart, The missing part, Days have passed, After all this time, You are on my mind, I have tried to reach you, your not there, Show how much I care, I am in hopes that you will see, This poem I have written tonight, And reach out to me, True love never dies, Never fails, Souls meet, collide, True love is, the hearts' open sails, Sailing on and on, Crossing paths into forever, Until our bodies and souls become One..... I felt the longing and perhaps a touch of resentment in this one RH. A wise man once said..."Tis better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all" How true this is, is the real question however. great writing All my love, Jeffrey |

This is lovely Romantic Heart! Sometimes it is there right in front of us, and we don't see it until it is too late ... sigh ... I hope they read your words and give it another try! Beautiful poem! Best wishes, /Kit |

To embrace and to hold Some offering of cheer Til the story is told From a friend so near I dream of the day One you will not resent Longing to hear you say That you are quite content. I hope that your words reach the one they were written for and that they find value in them as have I. |

Jeffery...I am wandering too! because the experiance of once leaves you wanting more! Kit..I have tried, but maybe not hard enough! this situation has boundaries and limitations, that I cannot cross. Mark...Thanks for the poem and encouragement! I feel if it is meant to be, our paths(the one I wrote the poem about) will cross again, I hope it won't be too late! I love this poem... Its all in bittersweet remembrance.. Whatever the situation, I hope you can somehow overcome it... Maybe try once again. That way you'll know for sure? Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go. |

A Romantic Heart, I know how you feel. I never knew how much I loved someone, until they were gone. I've tried to move on, but deep inside of me, I keep hoping. I keep telling myself, that if it were true, it would return. I guess time will tell all! |
