          Chaos

Chaos comes with the dawn,
Bringing the light of morn.
The stars and moon have gone to sleep
With my fantasies to keep
And I awake new born.

Now chaos rules the day
And I am torn away
To fill the needs of all that live
With the real of take and give
To store the hay away.

It's a tale of repeat
And is a lonely street.
A one on one, that must be done.
This work beneath the sun,
This work that gives receipt.

But comes the time of rest,
I do my very best,
To sail the moon and stars again,
To pick up dreams, amen
And dream myself illusions guest.

The night does close the door
And chaos does withdraw,
I sail upon my phantom ship,
To anchor in a slip,
Of valleys green and stars galore.

Great poem Seymour.

"To sail the moon and stars again,
to pick up dreams, amen
and dream myself illusions guest."

What a perfect way to describe the escape form the chaos of the day. Well done!

Seymour~
Poetry it is !

'The night does close the door
And chaos does withdraw,
I sail upon my phantom ship,
To anchor in a slip,
Of valleys green and stars galore'

Smiling and loving this day spent
with such talent.

No wonder the stars and moon are so popular. They can fullfill our dreams , at least until dawn, Very beautiful poetry

Fantastic indeed...

I have heard somewhere though that
"In total chaos lies ultimate perfection", I sometimes wonder if that is true or not.

Great poem, Sy...a vote from me for the night and the chaos of the day...we need them both to make harmony like this poem.

True how could we face the day without the night. *L*
Sea, Sudhir and Martie,
Without your comments how could I write?
