Wherever the River Flows Wherever the river winds, I want to go Around every bend with the force of the flow Down every cascade just tumbling free Til it reaches the mouth and flows into the sea Wherever the breezes blow I want to fly Along with the currents of air drifting by Lifting me higher to places unknown Where the eagle and falcon have never yet flown Wherever you ramble I just want to ride To be in your company right by your side If you float down a river or soar into space I’ll be there beside you wherever the place I’ll climb any mountain, I’ll swim any stream I’ll ride any highway to follow your dream Wherever you wander, whatever you do For my greatest dream is just being with you Elizabeth Santos |

This is a piece of great beauty, Liz!! Such style and grace as only you possess... The words dance like the wind and flow like that river. Wonderful!!! Love and hugs, Lizzie "Poetry is the true expression of my soul, it is my ultimate means of communication. It is my rainbow of delight." |

Liz - very sweet poem - full of longing, and promise. Whenever I think of you, I remember the person I met at Mike's who could inspire these sentiments in others. |
