 Louisiana Bayou Babes ~*Marge Tindal*~ If you go deep into the Bayou on a sultry summer evening You'll be captured in the web that Faerie's have been weaving Following threads of silken-spun will lead you to the edge Nymphs and magic happenings take you closer to the ledge Looking down in splendor Gazing with sheer delight You have found the magic lair of a Louisiana night The bog with frog does ribet singing the Faerie song Moon does light the eerie night with beams of dance-along Cajun Wood Nymphs dart about in naked abandoned delight The Bayou does a turnabout bathed in rapturous light Faeries prance within their dance Song of cricket fills the air Undisturbed by mortal man Don't let them catch you there Savor the flavor of the Bayou Babes then quietly steal away Magical rays will cling to you for many a July day [This message has been edited by Marge Tindal (edited 07-02-2000).] |

Marge, If you've never been to Louisiana you should plan to go. The bayous and swamp are a real sight to behold. Photographs could never do them justice. Although this poem came very, very close By the way....YOU STILL ROCK!!!!! All my love, Jeffrey |
