Touch Me

Touch me in the way the summer breeze
Blows gently through alluring willow leaves
Unwrap with delicate care the silken clothes
Just as the sun unfolds a velvet rose

Kiss me the like the humming bird takes time
To sip with succulence the nectar’s prime
Embrace me as the morning glory clings
And wraps the trellis with its reaching wings

As butterfly seeks out the sweetest gem
Caress me as it brushes pollen stem
As passion flower flaunts it’s glorious bloom
Show me all the passion to consume

And I will be on honeysuckle’s vine
And offer you the sweetness of the wine
A luscious nectar,  pure and fine liquor
To fill your honey cup forever more

For I possess the one and only key
To a secret garden filled with ecstasy

Good lord Liz! What a mind you have! Delicately romantic! The way you've woven all this together, I couldn't begin to come up with something like this. A special mind you have m'dear

What a lovely picture painted in pastels, gently, with love, and emotion, only with words.
Well done.    Nona

Wow!  I stand in awe!  A standing ovation for you.  A beautiful poem filled with breathtaking imagery.  What a lovely way to compare love to nature's beauty.  I loved this!  You have a way with words!  Can I borrow your mind to write a poem?

Take care,

Liz,

This is awesome!!  Sensual and soft . . . very alluring.  Oh to walk through the garden of love in the springtime.  Nothing like it!!
