All that I did.
All that I said
wasted away
memories blead.

Reptile like skin
on all I've been
hiding this sin
returns again.

Doesn't matter
now's not the time.
Won't help me
nothing's..........

..going........to........

Quite the presentation Effigy!  I guess we had to "read between the lines" for the finale!  Sometimes we cannot take on all of life's burdens to ourselves ... it's just too tiring for one soul

Best wishes and sweet dreams,
/Kit

Insomnia,
sleep,
can't sleep,
must sleep,
Otherwise I never can reap,
Don't make a peap,
I just cannot sleep,
This feeling,
I'm feeling,
I'm starting to sleeeeeeeep ....
No there I go,
I'm waking again,
One thing to do,
I'll pick up my pen,
I'll write it in biro,
I'll write it in ink,
It gives me a chance,
To stop slumbering,
And think .

- Sleep easy for tommorow's another day and you must take it and reap the benifits of sweet fulfillment, Carpe Diem ( sieze the day ) -

L.of.L. Tom .
Sweet dreams .

I pleased that yall enjoyed this. It was kind of strange, just one of those late night rambels. I wasn't sure what kind of responce I'd get back on it. Anyways, thanks.

After all, what is reality anyway? Nothin' but a collective hunch.

Okay, guilty admission. All the way through your poem I kept hearing your voice saying, "Can't sleep, clowns will eat me... Can't sleep, clowns will eat me... Can't sleep, clowns will eat me..." Maybe that's because I know you too well.  Okay, first thing, "memories blead"--that should be "memories bleed". Secondly, I don't think you gave this poem enough credit. It's got a good rhyme scheme, good meter, good rhythm, and I like where you're taking it. I think you really cheapened the poem with that bizarre ending.
