I had wanted to be with you,
I would find the courage to tell you someday.
But the day i wanted to tell you,
Was the day "you" went away.

You didnt move away literally
But more like your interest for me.
As I went to ask about you, and me,
Was when i saw you with him, instead of me.

In my eye, a single tear,
As i cursed, and wondered "How?"
("How could i be so stupid, and wait to tell you how i felt?!")
From over here, it seemed quite clear,
That you were his now.

I guess the only thing to do,
Is shrug it off, and move on.
And pray these felings of despair
Thin down before too long.

Even though youre with someone else,
I will alway have feelings for you.
It seems every bit as crazy as it sounds,
Considering you're his now.

It seems that i've lost you for now,
But ill think of you each day,
And hope to God that somehow,
You'll be available again someday.

I'm so sorry that things didn't turn out well for you... but that's life, and you learn from it. I hope you've made a learning experence from this situation, because if you have, it probably won't happen again. Best of luck!

It sounds like you really like this person. You cant hide your feelings. Show this person what you really think and maybe it will work out. Great poem.

Forbidden fruit tastes the sweetest, eh? Ok, sorry, I'm not really making light of your situation. I've been here, and it pretty much sucks.

Ahh....this is soo sad, wish there was something you can do, but you know what if it's meant to be than it will be no matter what happens...good luck. Wish you the best..

I would like to ring in the big 5-0 by thanking you all once again for reading, and responding to my poetry. I figured i just go on, and do something different frommy usual bleak, stuff. Well thanx again, for responding to my work!
