...Through a Pouring Rainstorm. |

I picture life, and the people i come across, as me walking on my path, through a pouring rainstorm... I look around some days, and see people as i do the rain... Many faces, and personalities out in the world, abundant in their gathering, of which i will know, and come in contact with only a few. Sometimes i stand in the rain, and let it greet me all at once. Litterally soaking everything up; The atmosphere, the very mood, all at once. Other times i hide under my umbrella, so the whole storm doesnt greet me at once. Under here, i am safe to reach out to other rain drops, and block out others as i please. Then theres always that one day, where most of it will not be around. the people, the rain, everything... gone. Memories washed away by the current called time, like debris from an open guttar, into the sewers of obscurity. Leaving behind wet streets, and fields, and me with plesant memories. Seeing, and hearing people all around me. Getting to know only few of the many I see. When it's all gone, being left with only memories... ...Like walking on my path, through a pouring rainstorm. |
