I know that your away and by so many miles But that doesn't stop us from sharing smiles Fun and laughter is always on my face And I wish there wasn't so much space Im not sure theres much we can do And Im not sure I don't love you My heart has dropped away from my me And I feel empty without you baby I wish I could go away and reappear Alongside you and feel your silky hair We can watch the sky for stars and the moon And hope this moment doesn't end very soon When we talk together I stare at your picture And admire all your features in the mixture They make me want to get up and run And the sadness has only just begun Bur for now a days all I can do is wait For the day that we're tooken over by fate - This goes out to Katie, a sweet girl I met on a cruise. Shes so special and means a lot to me but she lives in Texas and Im in Massachusetts...Only time will tell. © Jeremy Raulinaits |

A very sincere and meaningful poem. She obviously means a lot to you. Long distance relationships are unpredictable. It all depends on how commited the two people are. But hey, I live in Texas, so I could do some investigating for ya. (heh, heh .....little joke there) Okay, bye for now. Jeremy~This is so sweet...I never had the chance yet to work at a long distance relationship...(Does a vacation count)??? Well I am finding it hard to be so far away from the person that I love right now...He is on vacation in Mexico while I am here in Chicago...Many thousands of miles apart...But I hope things turn out for the best for you and her...And if it is really meant to be somehow yous will find each other again... ~*Love is sometimes like a rose. Beautiful in the beginning but dies in the end.*~ |

Great poem man, I hope you gave it to her. I can only say something that a very wise person told me... love will find its way. This girl sounds really special to you, and you should do everything for her. You should try to work it out. Maybe someday.... It's been raining since you left me. |
