i wrote this one after breaking up with my ex while she was trying to convince me there was still a chance

the cornerstone is cracked
the capital has been sacked

theres nothing left
its all gone away
there was a theft
nothing left to say

we're all out of gas
we've spiderwebbed the glass

ive got to stick to my guns
i just cant come back
couldnt take me with the Huns
not going to repack

the boulder was crushed to dust
the walls have fallen to earths crust

the sun has set
thine maker has been met
