~No, this isn't something very true about my life, but there is some fact and some of my own feeling.~

He doesn't wear their ring
to say he is in love
or that he's met the special person
he considers to be an Angel from above.
  His children never see him
  but work is what's important,
  not the dance recital or baseball game
  that matter most to the kids.
No bedtime stories or hugs,
tucked in or kisses on the cheek,
they begin to wonder
if their real father was sweet.
  For their mother must see
  it's a stranger in their home,
  that this can't be the man she married,
  for he leaves them abandoned and alone.
