I stare at the clock angrily
as th cold dark of lost love
sweeps about me
Like fog over the prairy.
cold winds howl like the scream
coming from deep within my soul.
I reach out only to find injury.
I cry out but hear only
the echo of dispair.
My heart knumbs of th epain once felt.
The fire is extinguished,
gone forever, but I still search.
And nothing do I find.

I still can't put my finger on it, but there's just something about your writing that is just different than anybody elses I've ever read.  I love yer style.  Even when your poems have the same theme, they don't seem the same.

I like the way this flows Jason! Very nicely written! It appears you are on the same quest as many of us here, searching for the answers that elude us so ... good hunting!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Jason, forlorn, melancholy and searching. Love will find it's way back to you. Never give up hope.

Very deep and powerful...continue working through the pain and seeking the things you wish in life...great poetry here!
