This is just a bit of my darker side. Please every one don't freak out. Rain beats down apon my head. The lighting strikes, angel falling Disgrace is my name. The thunder crashes across the sky spread my broken wings and try to fly. Chaos drifting through the air cold air grips me like the devils stare. Blood red moon shines through the cloud, the time has come and gone. Streetlamp seems to show the way but where you're going there's hell to pay. No more time for silly games, the world is doomed, no more yesterday. I look for shelter from the rain, But find my self in a wilderness of guilt Nothing left but memories, of opportunities past. Fall on your face and wallow in the mud. Prodigal son never to return. You've missed your chance and now you'll burn. |

yes this is a great poem. and true everyone has a darkside sometimes i think mine is to dark because of the evil within me. but anyway i really enjoyed this one and do keep it up. I'm a dying romantic and when i can no longer write i can no longer live -Jeremiah Johnson- |

Wow! I really liked it! So what if you have a dark side... everyone has a little darkness in there somewhere! And I personally really like reading poems like this. (Call me weird, I guess) I just don't have too much luck coming up with my own dark peoms most of the time. This was really good tho! Got my vote on this one! |

I think sometimes we can take the littlest aspect of ourselves, like a dark side, and make it blossom. There's nothing wrong with a little gloom, it shapes who we are, and who we would rather be. Good work... I voted for you. Jenn |
