Not the Same Way I know that you see me But the way that you do Is not the same way that I see you I look in your eyes But the love that I see Is not a love that you feel for me I know that you hear me But the way that you do Is not the same way that I hear you I listen to your voice But the words that you say Tell me that you don't feel the same way I know that you think of me But the way that you do Is not the same way that I think of you I can tell what you're thinking But the thoughts in your head Are of someone else, and your love for them I know that you care But the way that you do Is not the same way that I care about you I feel what's in your soul But the soul that I see Has an empty space where she should be You love her, but she doesn't love you I wish that I could make you see I love you, but you don't love me Perhaps it wasn't meant to be ~*~Linzi~*~ |
