It is a battle that rages daily
Deep within our soul
Our own private Jekyll and Hyde
We choose which side take control

Our dark side filled with secrets
Hidden anger from the past
Letting him have his evil way
Will be our end when the day has past

The Jekyll that we choose to show
Brings love and compassion at his side
Hiding, repressing the horror show
Taht crashes us in chilling tides

But sometimes we let the dark one out
This satan deep within
Giving action to desires
That speak of mortal sin

The battle rages on each day
Left for us to choose
Will we let the light show through
Or will Jekyll lose?

I like how you related that to all people and not as a personal battle...I'm gonna push some more keys now.
