They say they've earned it
because they suffered
because they went through all that pain
they might deserve it
and now they are covered
while we're standing in the rain

My heart and prayers go out to all my people in palestine

It is a terrible situation in the middle east, and I only hope that it ends in a peaceful matter as soon as possible. Thanks for sharing.

You'd think after almost 2000 years, something would change for the better over there...but it hasn't...I share your prayers..so many innocents shouldn't have to die.

My prayers go out to them too. Very unfortunate on what's going on over there. Nice poem.....keeping us aware.

I wish this could end soon, but I think the chances of things truely changing soon are low.  We can always hope though
