ok, these are "reposts" from Teens #2 (this one was my first post) ~*~ The Rose I Wore ~*~ The rose I wore, Is still here. I forgot all about it, Until I looked through the memories of the past. You were always there, And whenever I would cry, In your arms is where I’d always be. The pain always seemed to disappear when I was with you, In your arms, and you in my thoughts. The rose I wore, It holds so many memories, More than I ever thought it could. As I hold it now, I know that I can count on you, To be there when I need you most. Has our friendship become more, You hold me, and I know, I belong here, In your arms. The rose I wore, Holds my thoughts of you. I lost myself, In the memories held by the rose I wore. (this one was written almost a year ago, for an old friend) ~*~ The Secret Behind the Black Rose ~*~ Theres a reason why I prefer a black rose to any other, Red represents romance, And pink is love, Why would I want a rose that represents something I don’t have? The vase has been empty since hes been gone, Not even a black rose has left its mark on it. Romance is gone, Love has left me to die. The black rose represents something I do have, A hidden love, that even he doesn’t know about. I've tried to give him signs, I even wore a pink rose to his party… www.angelfire.com/wv2/poetrycorner I'm just a girl looking at a guy asking him to love me |

I remember these, Tamma. They are just as great now as they were the first time around. It's good to see them again! "Where there is great love there are always miracles" -Cather "Love heals everything, and love is all there is"- Zukav |

Wonderful poems........glad to have read some from your archive! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |

I really liked the second one a lot...I especially loved the twist at the ending about wearing a pink rose to his party...that was really cute. They were both good poems |
