This was written for the one girl that I'll never, ever be able to look at from across a room and not lose my breathe for at least a short moment.  I could never explain why... she will always be my greatest venture and my greatest loss.

The 27th

August 27th; That night I held you tight.
     Listening to your whispers.
     Easing away your fright.
       Knowing I could love you,
       wanting you so much.
       Everyday I see
       why I'm lucky for your touch.

September 27th; tonight I'll hold you tigth.
     I'll kiss you on the lips
     knowing that it's right.
        Knowing that I love you
        and that you love me too
        makes my life worth living
        and makes my heart stay true.

Forever 27th; Still I'll hold you tight.
     Listening to your whispers.
     Easing away your fright.
        Knowing I still love you
        more and more each day.
        Knowing I still need you
        in every single way.
