Alas, I've once again proved myself to be the world's most prolific writer of bad poetry. Vreni Innocence Smolders Innocence smolders, burnt by the day, Leaves ashes of hate, charred and gray. Smothered affection begins to smoke, On glowing embers I cough and choke. A twisted confusion ignited the fire, Despite your fanning, revealed a liar. The blaze of wrath burnt out of control, Fumes of dismay swirl black as coal. Innocence smolders, burnt by the day, Confusion hovers, unsure what to say. Flint of passion naught makes a flame, Extinguished by tears shed by this game. Torment remains, a rain-soaked match, Despite your pleas, the pyre won’t catch. Wooden apologies the combustion fed, You’re far too late, the inferno is dead. |

Well I think that this was great. I am honoring your poem with my 2000th post. I think you're a wonderful writer and deserve world wide praise. We should do some sort of people-who-think-they-suck-at-writing-tour. I loved this and i love you! Mua mua!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |
