Thoughts Hateful were they, demons in my head Every thought in mind they had read Stripped me of every faith and dream They bore witness to my fearful screams Unable to do anything, helpless as an infant Through my mind, they ran rampant Whispering thoughts of betrayal and treason In every waking moment of each season Infectious these thoughts proved to be Listening at last it all seemed right to me But it brought only pain and disaster I understand now that its me they're after Help I'll find to get away from here Help I'll find to deal with my fear I'll get rid of them till finally I see That the only screams belong to them, not me |

Don't let these thoughts control you, you have to control them. Nice job on the poem! "Disagreements stimulate thought, thought stimulates action, and action stimulates life." --Lakewalker http://www.thehungersite.com |
