~*Next Time*~ You were broken-hearted, And needed someone to care. I talked to you for hours. I was the one who was there! Do you remember calling me, Tears streaming from your eyes? It seems you have forgotten; What a freaking surprise! I did all I could to help you. I got you back on your feet. I’ve helped you time after time, But what have you done for me? You never have re-paid me, And never will, I’m willing to bet. Every time you take advantage of me, You plunge deeper into eternal debt. I thought our friendship stood a chance, But you are with her yet again. I guess the guys and I will have to adjust, To not having you as a “friend.” And next time she screws you over, I won’t answer when you call. I’m not going to let you use me again— Not for a second, not for a week, not at ALL! [This message has been edited by Suga_Baby (edited 11-27-2000).] |

Good comeback poem...Good for you to stand up for yourself to someone who you thought was a friend...And I loved the way this ended!!! People leave our lives as quickly as they come, but the ones that mean something leave footprints in our hearts. |
