Looking up at the midnight sky, I feel as though I began to fly, Across the mountians and trees up high, Gliding free throughout the sky, Looking below at magical things untold, Never knowning what the future holds, Enjoying the wind on my face, Thankful of God's enteral grace, Of his love so true so dear, Death I will not fear, For I will be in haven when my time comes, But for now a servent I will be, A servent's heart I will need, Willing and ready, Forgiving and kind, Telling those I meet of God's love devine, Of the grace and love from above, Of his son who died that we might be "clean", As white as snow, Cleansed by the blood that stained the cross so, How underserving we are. I wrote this last night. It might not make much sense. Lets just say these are "my thoughts and my feelings." If any of you have an idea for a title please let me know. |

Wow...I really admire how you expressed something as personal as your faith so openly in this piece. Very well done. I gained a lot of respect for you by reading this. Great job. As for a title...maybe "eternal grace" or "beginning to fly"...? I dunno, I'm terrible with titles! Keep writing ~Kristin ~*Won't you come and hold my hand? This world has taken me as far as it can... without your smile.~* ~*If I never said I'm sorry, then I'm wrong, |

This is an extremely good poem, and I like Jenabou's idea for a title. God's Grace would fit prefectly for it. It is nice to read a poem such as this, great work! Jon |

I think you did an excellent job of telling your "thoughts and... feelings" in this poem, it's really good "Disagreements stimulate thought, thought stimulates action, and action stimulates life." --Lakewalker http://www.thehungersite.com |

These are some great thoughts, my friend. It's good to know that He died for us! I'm not good with titles, but how about "midnight thoughts"? "Where there is great love there are always miracles" -Cather "Love heals everything, and love is all there is"- Zukav |
