I laid my heart on the line and all I heard was breakin' baby Well I guess it proves to me that you must be taken baby I thought you might be the one but I guess I thought too soon So you kicked me out,in the dark, now I'm livin' by the light of the moon My heart's locked up, I feel alone, so I guess it's time that I just move on Cause you're already gone But I'm still standing here I've got to be strong But I'm so filled with fear This road's been dead for a long time I quit using it the minute you were mine I watched you run down it and I got left behind I've got to start my trip down the long hard road of love I wish I could fly and watch it from above So I could try to lie by lookin' for someone new But I know the truth I'm only searching for you But you're already gone And I'm still standing here I've got to be strong But I'm so filled with fear I'm getting up, I'll try again, I been holding out, now I'm moving in I can' t stand to sit, and watch you work, while I'm crying here, just like a jerk I've tried my best, to live my life, like I thought you would I've waited here, for long enough, I've done the best I could I can't wait for you when you're not around My heart's done breakin', I can't hear the sound I'll live my life,it will go on It's time that I just moved on I've waited here for so long But you're not comin' back... Cause you're already gone and I'm done crying here I've tried to be strong now I'm done shedding tears Cause you're already gone and I'm done crying here I've tried to be strong now I'm done shedding tears |
