Another day passes by… By Jessica DeMaio You blessed me with this “so called love” when I was conceived You held me at tender ages, You fed me, Bathed me, Never could I believe… My life has been transformed… Loss at a young age affects me, Why I was born then? Why? You can’t mend this, Damage has been done, You two continue having your childish fun And here we are Heart broken and alone Being in love of course togetherness… Individuals? Doesn’t exist… The flowers have died… The wind has become colder… The sun had lost its shine… But did the sun ever shine? My love for you is blind… Tears are creeping up, There's no time… Our losses together… Both of you are supposed to be there forever? You’re supposed to understand… Listen Hold my hand… But no… You never ever cared to show… I am your daughter I strive for success Fulfill each dream… Hoping oneday… To watch you look at me and say I am proud… But no that is not allowed… I continue each day knowing… My parents will never be showing... The love… The love within; we live and die… There is no love… Another day passes by… |

Hmmmmm, how to respond, how to respond? Well, the poem was good, it had really strong feelings in it and I like that. Now, your parents never show you that they love you? I know this is going to sound dumb, talking to parents and all... no Way! ...but maybe you should talk to them about this. Or maybe that's not even an option, so in that case, I would say look forward not backward and stay positive. Wow, this was a long reply from me But anyway, great poem! Great Poem,If you have tried to express how you feel and there is still no response, all I can say is go forward, there are others out there who can care for you and help you just as much, you will just have to look. Take Care Keoni |
