How can i explain,
These feelings i have inside.
These feelings that make me feel,
The need to hide and cry.
Your my everything,
My all.
The reasons for my smiles and my falls.
Every single time i breath,
I wish it were untrue,
Cause every single breath i take,
Proves i can live without you.
I've given you my heart,
And put it in your hands.
Take care of me like you said,
Dont go against your plans.
You tell me i'm safe with you,
So let you inside.
I'm sorry it scares me,
There's some things i choose to hide.
If i give you all of me,
All of me you'll get.
And as of now,
I'm not ready to give myself away yet.
Giving you me,
Is a hard thing to do.
Cause then,
I'd be soley relying on you.
Hoping my heart you wont break,
Taking care of my feelings,
And fixing your mistakes.
I need a safety net to fall back on,
I cant fully let go.
I know i should trust you,
Like you say i should.
Im sorry hun,
I really wish i could.
But putting myself out there,
Is taking a big risk,
And putting myself on the line.
I'll be ready,
But in a matter of time.
So for now be happy with what you got,
You have everything i could give,
And you hold a special place in my heart.
You make life,
Something worth to live.

Great thoughts here SugarHigh ... don't take risks "you" aren't ready for. Keep listening to that inner voice, and don't let anyone sway you from what "you" know to be right for "you". Very positive attitude, nicely done!

This poem means more to me than you can understand. I am dealing with someone whom I love but she is not ready to devote herself so fully to me. I have already told her that I'll take what I can get, but it's hasn't been enough. This gave me a whole new perspective on things. Thank you
