*The Gift I Gave to You* This gift is more precious than gold, it is who I am and what I want to be. I can never get it back, and to only one I can give it to. I always wanted to keep it till I was married, but it's gone now. I like you so much, never would I have imagined something would happen between us. We started talking about things I thought were private. One thing led to another, and my feelings took over. I gave into you that night, you did nothing to force me. It was my decision. The pain I endured was worth every minute, but still i have my regrets. I'm afraid you only see me as a friend with benefits, although you tell me we're more. I'm not sure if I'll ever know. I want you to be my Romeo and I your Juliet, to me you are the world. I pray you will never forget me, because I know you will hole a special place in my heart. Never will I forget the time we spent together, and the feelings we shared. *Jo Lake* |
