White Spider

Space, the vast,
Open and void,
People everywhere.
Empires of strength
And civilizations young
All brought to ripening
By two older races.

Both wanted control
But neither could gain it
For in their greatest hour
The younger races said
"No!" to their masters.
Through the white star
And the strength of will.

The light they loved
And let it guide them,
But in the end
The light was dark
Just as the dark,
And the Shadow no different
Than this White Spider.

I like this one, it flows great and sounds great. Nice job writing it!

I like this. It keeps a very dark theme all the way through. Consistency is a good thing.
