People around the world are hurt every day
Why?? No one here is ever to say
All we know is that innocent lives are taken
And someone's future is always forsaken
The reason is not known
But all the hurt is shown
In the victims and loved ones eyes
Remain the memories while their heart cries
It cries out to God in heaven above
Searching for answers and someone's love
It cries for the future, wishing the past did not exist
Hoping that one day all the pain will desist
But in the end the outcome is always the same
Someone is hurt because of another's cruel game
Life goes on but hearts are broken that will not mend
We all await the day that the hurting will come to a end.

I read your reply to Allysa's poem and seen that you wrote this for maybe her friends family...I think that for some reason this horrible violence happens...But yet sometimes there is no good reason for it to happen...I had a close friend get killed almost 2 years ago...But it was his own fault...It was due to gang violence...

This was an amazing piece of work...

I liked this one a lot...I agree, that bad things all too often happen to good people. sad, but true. Keep it up, I love all of your work!
