It’s the way of life The way to survive Having a good image Creating good impressions It gets friends Helps decide who is foe It helps you succeed And move on in life It is something that can’t be faked It cannot be changed by another You are who you are And you made you that way The way your surroundings affect you The way people touch you Make you who you are Form your life Your image is you It can’t be taken away Or changed by others It is life *I am not one to be feared. i like the way you wrote this poem although i don't agree with some of the things said. Now night arrives with her purple legions Retire now to your tents & to your dreams Tomorrow we enter the town of my birth I want to be ready. - JM |

I agree with anomaly, as I probably usually will. Image is nothing. The poem was written very well though. keep it up bud!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

I like how this is written, but i agree with the others. There are parts of our life and image that can be affected by others. That's not the way it should always be, but to me it seems to be the truth. "Disagreements stimulate thought, thought stimulates action, and action stimulates life." --Me!! |
