This world keeps on trying
to change my very being,
it keeps on changing
all the things I believe in.
It never asks how I’m feeling
and it likes watching
all my wounds unhealing.

And though this is hard
to admit to you,
this world’s getting to me.
It’s turning me into you
and that is the last thing
I ever want to be,
a slave of anger, hatred
and impurity.

Cause for as long as I live,
(please may that not be long)
I want to give
to those who aren’t strong,
but the will within me
is slowly dying
cause it can’t understand
this live in lying.

I started walking
with pride by my side,
but now I am failing
and that I can’t hide,
I can no longer run
cause my being is gone.
Please, please just leave me
I want to die alone!

this was an amazing piece....i can totally relate to this. but just think of it this way, you didn't fail....you're in a valley of sorts, but soon you'll be walking back up and see that all you've done wasn't fail, but perpare. Good luck!

tears~~~this poem reminds me so much of myself..."its turning me into you"...my boyfriend tells me more and more i am turning into my sister...and thats the one person i NEVER want to be...i dont think that anyone (that doesnt know her) would like to spend an hour with her...thats how bad she is...but you wrote a perfect poem...and i love it!!!keep up the good work!!!
