WHO AM I? Lost in a world all of my own. Different from anyone else, in a way unknown. What is my purpose for being? Why am I still here? My life is nothing but torture, a world filled completely of fear. Few reasons left for living, but at least they keep me alive. If I never had them here, how could I possibly survive? Attempts toward death, but in one last second, thoughts of those I might have left. Surrounded by darkness, living life blind. Can't get rid of the past, that should've been left behind. So who am I, & why am I here? Please show me the way, & make my path clear! ~Never kiss a fool, & never let a kiss fool you!~ ~If you love somebody don't write their name in a heart. Hearts can be broken. Write it in a circle, 'cuz circles are neverending!~ LOVE ELMO <3 |

Wow, that poem was very deep. I can relate to that sometimes. The way I feel can be unbearable, and that poem pretty much sums it up. I love your style. Thanks for sharing! |

It's a great poem- but is it about you? I hope not. If nothing else, remember that people love you and would be hurt if you were gone. As far as your world, I can relate to a point. But keep writing, and keep smiling!!! Bel |

thanx every1 yes this poem i wrote in my darker moments of life my life's gotten a little happier since then but there are still times when i'm alone that i feel like this i try to keep myself busy so i won't do anything drastic lol i work 13 hours a day except on weekends- when i go to albany & visit my boyfriend- or he comes here to buffalo to visit me |

qtpieelmo ~ I think almost everybody in a way can relate to what you said in on onoe level or another. I agree with MelissaL in saying that this poem was really deep. It was. You captured in words what it feels like to be lost and alone with yourself. Good work. ~ Emma |

i know exactly what you went or are going through right now..i went through the same thing in my life and even wrote poetry about it!!...but i really like your poem and hope to read more like it...but maybe not as sad becasue you will be happier... |
