I wake up
The world is upside down
Why, I don't know
How do you make it right?
I turn to you for an answer
To see the world in circles
Cars speed right by
Lights change everywhere
Music blaring
Police speeding
Sirens everywhere
Slowing down
Before I leave
My life is spinning around in my head
Because of you
My life spins

"True friends stab you in the front"
"True love last forever"

Chel ~ Great job on this poem! I really liked your word choices - simple yet right to the point. It gave a feeling of "spinning" in confusion. I hope to read more soon. ~ Emma
