I Sit Alone I sit alone though the night Wanting so badly to hold you tight Yearning to feel your body so close Bundled emotions I can’t expose Stars glow deep in the sky I sit alone and start to cry Tear by tear I try to hide Writing my heart out, I have tried My poems with much meaning My heart careening I remember the romance so strong A love, that may be wrong I sit alone, my soul in agony Is this love a tragedy? I miss you so dearly My love poured out so clearly Longing for your romance Desire for your chance I sit alone, in torment Our hearts dissent Looking to the heavens for the answers This love has a growing cancer Dangerous you once said This cancer has spread Darkened my soul Your love has took its toll Once things were better Once I thought forever I sit alone, bleeding from within My love for you has worn too thin I hope your future is bright Without me in your sights I need better than this This love a complete abyss July 18, 2000 [This message has been edited by LarBear (edited 07-19-2000).] |

Looking to the heavens for the answers...I have looked many times, this was insightful, really enjoyed. The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose...--Hada Bejar |

Well, I tell ya, I didnt think that so many people had some of the same feelings that have developed in me. Its nice to know that I am able to touch a few, and be supported at the same time. Thanks, LarBear |

I loved the rhythm this one had, it was very deep, descriptive, painfull, yet diagnostic. It was fast furious and totally full of emotion. Great work!!! "Those little slices of death, how I loathe them." -Edgar Allen Poe |

However hard one is hit - the love never ends Lar - your poem says that clearly despite the disclaimer in the last part of it... Love on Deepak |

A heart-wrenching poem, larbear! A dying love is hard to bear , but I'm sure you won't be alone forever! Lotharingia "Dreams are life, reality, creation" Miguel de Unanumo |

LarBear, Oh my, how I relate to this one. We havce all been there at one time or another. You are far from alone. Great writing!! Lone Wolf Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
