-Once Asleep At The Wheel- it's great to start a new life but it's hard to drive with tears in your eyes with no wipers to wipe away the rain within your eyes you feel the stinging pain a lost love and a speeding automobile no right to get bhind the wheel nevertheless the deady wheels roll something missing within the soul shaky hands and tear-filled eyes as the death machine flies somewhere within this route one must see the fine line between breakdown and insanity as other machines are completely blown away this one must head for the new way she's running hot, and low on gas as another machine is passed another storm is again coming on again the wipers are not where they belong stinging and struggling the eyes stay open again just can't let those deamons in for many frames of life's movie reel were spent asleep at the wheel J.L. Koehler This family of great minds is absolutely amazing, truly inspirational. Thank you all. Peace, Love, and Happiness. |

Very interesting and truthful poem. We have all been there, asleep at the wheel. Take care Catalinamoon "Keep dreams alive, for if dreams die, life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly." author unknown |
