Just beyond the morning In a land of chil and black A soldier gaurds his lands On a horse of deaths own black I a stable in the courtyard where a ragged jester plays Lives the king of fools presiding over horses, insects and hay A lonely chorus wailing to a deaf king on the throne Not even cats hear there calling To a king carved in stone The magic in the twilight Calling all to stay Just beyond the morning In the land without the day Beneath the blacksmiths rusty hammer Sparks the gold of Elven Brood From which they shape their armour For fighting the armies of good In the tavern beer is flowing As the night is always young And the parties always growing For no Morning brings the Sun In Barracks Knights and squires Are preparing for the dawn when they can ride into daylight And battle back to dawn In the churchyard Sits an old man A preist and son of god Praying for peace yet not sparing of the rod Avermore is golden Avermore is grand In Avermore the Sunlight Never falls upon the sand The darkness trapped forever In the eternal night Avermore is lost Avermore dead with spite Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling From glen to glen, and down the mountain side The summer's gone, and all the roses falling 'Tis |

Beautifully told, feels like you were there experiencing it. A past life perhaps? |

This poem has a nice flavor....mythical and omnious. Great job! -Wren The thread of destiny Unknown by anyone Unseen by anyone Winds around your heart Moist with tears -Vampire Princess Miyu Theme |
