Some of you might remember the first poem I wrote and put on here about my Grandpa. Well, I wrote another one the other day... a lot kinder Hey Pa, this is real difficult for me to write, Coz I still love you, Pa, there is no black and white. Geez, I wish I could find you, I really want to talk, Pa, don't you understand, please, talk to me, I won't balk. I want to tell you about me, all about my life, Pa, I want to know what happened to you, what was ya strife? Hmm... I want to reminisce, talk about the good ole days, Want to sit and hold your hand don't want the memories to fray. I hear all these differing stories from the family, about you, Hey Pa, how 'bout comin' forward, telling me what's true-blue! I forgive you Pa, after all, no-one is perfect, huh? And if I saw you, truly, I would sing cha la la la! No, I would not criticise you, please do not think so, If you were here, I would support you when high and low. Everyone here thinks I'm crazy Pa, to want to know you, to find, But I have such a yearning, it's becoming a real bind. Pa, if you ever see this, put that bottle down, Come knock on my door, and wipe off my frown. I hope you didn't end up dying in some cold place, I love ya Pa! All I want is to see your face. ... Again. ~ Tara ~ |

Tara, what a heart wrenching poem! I'm afraid I missed the first one. Makes me wonder what happened to your grandfather. I hope he's ok! Don't you know where he is? P.s. I know this is irrelevant, but I can't help myself from mentioning it one of my nicknames in school was "Utter Wally" Lotharingia "For God's sake, he's a poet. Poets are meant to feel miserable. Otherwise, what the hell are they here for? What are they going to write about?" Tom Holland |

Uta - no, I do not know where my Pa is I must confess, I didn't like him much there for awhile... he left my Nanna who was on a dialysis machine - and then 6 months later she died. He loved the bottle a bit more I'm afraid. But now, I am older and a lot more understanding and forgiving. I just want to find him and make sure he is okay |

Tara...I hope my grandchildren develop the understanding and forgiveness you have found. I don't see them as often as I should or would like to. Nice tribute..I hope you find him. The Salvation Army used to maintain a search service...you might try them. Lots of love to you....Hardrock |

~Tara,...I remember your other poem relating to this...*sigh*,..I feel for you. This held such a message of longing and concern. I hope things work out for you and I admire your strength to overcome the anger??? (for lack of a better word,..and lack of knowing the WHOLE story),..but I admire your strength and dedication displayed. Take care. *Peace. |
