I am having the cravings again to drink my feelings away. Trying to tell myself it will be all right today. The feeling of being alone has overwhelmed me. I only hope this you can see. Its like my heart is breaking into a thousand pieces and falling to the ground. And all I see is the emptiness and loneliness all around. My friends have been there for me, God knows why. All I can do is think of getting high. I know its not good to feel this way. But hell what can I say. I try to hard to understand what's happening to me. God, I wish you could only see. My Friend please know I am trying. And without you here for me, I know my heart would truly be dying. |

Hi, this is very touching, with just that bit of desperation. We have all had the craving to drown sorrows in whatever way we can. Unfortunately the problem or sadness comes back with a vengeance after whatever wears off. Be careful, and take care. Very nice poem. |
